The Chapel Project coordinates partnerships between congregations in Romania, and the
Dominican Republic with an American group in order to build a 120-person chapel. The local congregation supplies
the land, obtains necessary permits, participates in spiritual and evangelism training, completes the foundation,
and helps during the construction. The American group provides the funds necessary to purchase the construction
materials for the chapel and sends a construction/evangelism team of approximately 21 people to build the chapel,
hold VBS for the children, hold women's small groups, and participate in prayer walks and evangelism teams in the
towns. This trip is a "turnkey" mission trip for the American group.
The Project is led by Don & Joyce McCauley. They are assisted by several local assistants who are also
employed by the Project. The Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization under the direction of
an independent Board of Directors.
